Chanya Sae-Eaw became passionate about agriculture while studying sustainability at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.  While in school, Chanya explored ways to make farming a viable way to earn a living.  She started working on an organic vegetable farm and learned aspects of farming that were unavailable to her in the classroom.  The hands on experience was life changing.  In 2005 she traveled to Brazil with a study abroad program, focusing studies on permaculture, intensive farming, natural building, and turning land that was once a desert into a food forest.  In 2008, she partnered with John in a cut flower venture.  In 2009,  along with cut flowers the small farm enterprise expanded to include vegetables and herbs.  This year she is delighted to share with you a seasonal bounty of fresh grown, healthy produce, flowers, and transplants.

John White moved to the Pioneer Vally in the winter of 2005 to study lamp-working and pursue a career in carpentry.   Fascinated by the local agriculture scene, John quickly began reading and dreaming everything farming.  The following spring, when a farm position opened on a local, organic farm he jumped on the opportunity.  In 2009 John became co-owner of Farmacy Gardens, a 3 acre market garden specializing in nutritious vegetables, herbs, and fresh cut flowers.  In 2010 John looks forward to the very first heirloom field tomato and of course hand weeding carrot rows with a butter knife," the best chance for a little meditation".
